I looked for hours on the internet for a girl, flip out sofa for a reasonable price and i finally found this one. Layla loves it and crawls all over it all day long! I broke down and couldnt wait to give it to her. :)

Layla got some early birthday presents. This is a car she got from her mawmaw cathy. Once we put layla on it she just took off! (THANK YOU CATHY!)

Mom, Chelle, the girls and I went to the Idaho County Fair last weekend. Layla loved all the animals especially the bunnies!

My baby girl is 11 months old! She is standing and trying to crawl on top of everything. She can say "oh looky looky!" and Tickle tickle. Its so cute!

This is layla WALKING! ya i know, its so crazy! I was scrapbooking and layla has been pulling herself up onto everything so it wasnt abnormal to see her standing by me, but it was crazy to notice her walking away from me!!! So great to watch her learn new things everyday.

Here are a couple of the cute faces layla has been making lately.

A little while ago i let layla try to eat baby spagettio's and apple squares by herself. She barely ate any and ended up with almost all of it on herself. Her bath water was orange that night.

This summer we went to swim lessons at the aquatic center. Layla loved the water but didnt get her head underwater more than 3 times since when you blow in her face she opens her eye and mouth big instead of closing them and taking a breath in. She loved the water though and had a great time.

We have grass! Its filling in very well now and i just got done transplanting some of my irises from the back yard to the front so i thought i'd update my blog. I'll take more pics of the back when we get done with the last bit of river rock around the deck and house. Hopefully we can get the deck stained and everything done for layla's birthday at the end of ausust. Richie is taking his practical exam for paramedic certification today then his written on the 30th so wish him luck!

4th of July Weekend

Last week i started trying to get layla used to cows milk and she has just taken off with it. She started just taking it once a day and after this weekend she drinks it twice a day and only nurses at night and in the morning! Im so excited to be able to leave her places and not have to worry about her getting enough to drink!
I was starting to worry that i'd be nursing her forever so its a relief she is catching on so fast. She has been napping better and in a great mood so it hasnt been bothering her stomach which i know can be a problem for some.

Saturday night mom and i also gave layla a bath in her kitchen sink so we wouldnt have to bend over the bath tub. She did great except for the slip when he head almost went under, but mom and i caught her! She then crawled out of the sink onto the counter when she desided she had enough, it was too cute!

This is a chair chelle had for one of her girls, layla sat in it very well. Untill she started suckin on her toes in it! She makes the funniest faces sometimes! The night of the 4th layla, Mom and I went down to Ferdinand where a couple family went together in on some fireworks so we watched them set them off on main street. Layla likes the fountain ones and didnt even flinch at the loud screamers or poppers. She fell asleep on moms lap half way through and stayed asleep through all the loud finally poppers and screamers.

Saturday Mom, Layla and i went to grangeville to watch the parade. This is her yelling at one of the floats in the parade! She loved watching all the people around her. It was so hot though that we went home after i stood in line for a lions burger for 1/2 hour! They are sooo worth it though!

I had been making an Afgahn for Layla for a couple weeks and this weekend i finally finished it! Those are small Octagons i had to crochet then sew them all together in the right pattern.

Layla and I went up to moms house on thursday, that night Ron, Chelle, the twins, Layla, Mom and I all lit sparklers on moms porch. Layla kept trying to reach for the sparks!

10 months old!

Layla has so many different faces she makes, its so funny to watch her now! She is saying "ot ohhh" when she drops things, she just started saying "heyyyy" when you walk in the room. She has started cuddling alot more too. She is still just army crawling but doesnt have a problem getting around at all.

Camping at Freeman Creek

We went camping for the first time with Layla this weekend. We used Randi Jo and Phil's camper so we had air conditioning and a nice place for Layla to hang out. We went out on Waits pontoon boat saturday and hung out at the floating docks for a couple hours. We were able to go out on Ockwells' jet ski for a bit so of coarse now Richie wants both! Yesterday we hung around the camp site and relaxed. It was alot of fun and a nice getaway that we both realy needed. At the dogwood festival this year Richie wanted to get some tie died shirts so i got one for each of us so we had to take a picture with all of us matching, dorky i know!

We got our little turtle pool out today and let layla play in it. Richie filled it up early so the water warmed up alot, then he set the umbrella over it so it was all shaded, it was so sweet. Layla loved it until she rolled over to crawl and got her mouth under water. But she was back to playing once i dryed her off. We signed up for a class at the aquatic center for layla and i, i think she's gonna love it. Maybe they will teach me how to swim along with the kids :P

So.....whats the friggin deal with little swimer diapers?! I put layla in them at Randi Jo's, I let layla sit in the pool for a bit then i had her on my lap letting her dry and she peed on me! Swimming diapers....I dont think so, its just another layer! Why call it a diaper if it doesnt hold pee!!!! Anyways, she peed on me.

This morning i met Randi jo and the girls at genesse to watch the parade then went over to their house a little later and watched the kids play in the pool. It was a fun day, im so glad i was able to get away and change my day up a bit.

9 months old!!

My baby girl is already 9 months old!!! She is army crawling everywhere and loves chasing the cat around in her walker. She loves music, every time she hears a good beat she wiggles her head from side to side. She is always sticking her toung out now, especially when she smiles. We spent the last two weekends up at my moms house. We had my Neice Jami's graduation, a wedding and we cleaned my brothers house. Next weekend we are up there again for Jami's graduation party and i finally will get my air conditioning fixed in our jeep. Its not been fun putting layla in a hot car and not be able to turn on the air ful blast for her to cool off. I get to start slowely introducing her to cows milk and i can have her completely on cows milk already by 11 months if i want!!! No more breastfeeding finally and i will be able to have other people watch her for more than three hours without me having to pump!! That is so awsome you probably dont even understand!!

Well, i have not been the only one not updating my blog so i dont feel too bad about it!! :) When Richie is home, he will lay down with layla and they will fall asleep together and i just thought it was so cute how cuddly they were this last time so i took a picture. And now Layla is doing an army crawl to get where she needs to go and she has found the dvds! This isnt as bad as it was before, she usually pulls the dvd player out too! I look forward to everyones NEW posts soon. :P

Mothers Day 08

I went up to my moms house Saturday for the weekend. We gave Layla a bath in her little tub while the twins took one in her big jetted bath tub. She was so funny, she started splashing alot then saw the mirror and decided to wash it for grammy with her hands! The next day we went to a breakfast that the men of ferdinand church puts on every year then we just hung out at the house for the rest of the day. I finally got Layla's hair in a little pony tail sunday too! It looks more like a bee stinger! :) Unfortunately Richie came home sunday morning to find the cat had pooped on the floor so now we are in the process of putting her outside. I am only putting her outside durring the day and only when im home, otherwise she is in the utility room. If anyone ever knows someone who wants a nice cat that IS house trained but just doesnt like kids let me know!

8 months old already!

Layla is already 8 months old! This week she started saying Mama, and this month she started scooting all over the place. She will get on her belly and turn around in circles, then once she gets on the hardwood flooring she pushes herself backwards. The cat is still doing good with her around, but once Layla starts chasing after her we'll have to see how she does. The cat doesnt realy like kids all that much but she has been tollerating layla so far. We are getting closer to getting our sprinkler system, we just replaced the water line to the house and will just have to till the yards under, trench out where to put the lines and get them in. I hope to have grass by layla's birthday so i can have a backyard birthday! Layla is trying to clap her hands too, she just cant get them together at the same time fast enough, its so cute. Well I have started working out with Richie doing cross fit workouts which are timed workouts that are very intense. Im proud that i've stuck with it for a week now, but I have a long way to go!

Well, Layla isnt crawling yet, but she is definately scooting and rolling all around! Tonight i put her on this purple blanket and she ended up behind/under the couch! Richie is going to put me through his own personal boot camp when he gets off work this week. We will see how it goes i guess.

This weekend i went up to my moms house. We had alot of fun flying kites and just hanging out with the family. We are having a scrapbooking weekend at moms next weekend and im so excited!

Well Layla is now 7 months old! She started sitting up at my moms house. She started saying "dada" to richie and now says it all the time, its so cute! There is also a picture of her sucking on a frozen fruit pop, her face was just priceless! Also there is a funny one of her sucking on a string from my shirt, she was playing with it, put it in her mouth then just sat and stared at me. Layla sits in the living playing with her toys all the time and usually the cats sleeping somewhere, but this day the cat wanted to play with the same toy as layla so i just had to get a picture of it!

Hey all. Sorry its been awhile, but im not the only one not updateing my blog weekly (you know who you are :) Well, i went up to my moms house last weekend and while we were there Layla started sitting up on her own. I love going to moms, it always seems like Layla does new things there. The first time she rolled over was at her house too. Also, chelle got me started on www.sparkpeople.com and im actually sticking with it! Its a really cool diet/workout page thats perfect for me. You log in everything you eat and all the work outs you do and it helps you keep track of calories so on and so forth. Anyways its completely changed my eating habbits and im finally working out. I walked an hour on the dikes today with Layla and it was so nice. I hope to stick with this long enough to loose my college/baby weight, im tired of being big.

I decided for Layla's 6 month pictures that i wasnt going to go to sears since they are so expensive and Layla doesnt smile at those places. So i asked Randi Jo to come over and take some pictures with her fancy camera and see how Layla does that way. Layla still didnt smile but the pictures turned out so cute. Thanks Randi Jo!! We draped a sheet over my bed frame and used pillows to prop her up since she still topples over. It was kinda funny when Richie came home and Layla was but naked getting her picture taken on our bed!!!! She started getting mad when i tried the last outfit on her (as seen in the first picture) So we called it a day after that. Thanks again Randi Jo!!

House update

We have finally started yard work this week. When we bought our house the front yard was all river rock. We shoveled out the river rock and moved it to the back yard around the fence last summer. So we finally got the blocks leveled in the front yard. The back yard when we got it was a junk yard. We had to till up the entire yard a couple times just to get the junk out! Richie built the wood fence last summer and we made the rock beds around the new fence, leveled the rest of the yard. We got our deck from chelle and ryan a couple years ago and we got the shed this last month from them too since they are building a shop. We are going to put the railroad ties from the corner of the house all the way back to the fence, then we will corner off in front of the shed and down the white fence. Then we are going to corner around the deck and infront of the house with railroad ties and river rock as well. Hopefully if the weather stays nice we will have the ties in place this week before Richie has to go back to work on thursday. Stay Tuned.

This thursday Richie, Layla and I went up to my moms house to get out of town. We had a nice relaxing time hanging with my mom, brother Ron, and neice Jessi. When mom was doing the dishes we had a butter bucket that we put on layla's head. She didnt mind it was there at all. My mom said she needs to wear it to hold her ears down (mom always comments on her ears :) Tesse, Jeff and Alex came over for lunch on friday so Layla got to hang out with her buddy! We have been starting our yard work so hopefully if the weather holds we will have a front yard this summer! I'll post pictures as we get farther along. Saturday we went to Kenzie's birthday party and got to see Brady's little red head girls! Its so funny we both ended up with red heads. We had a great time at the party. I cant believe i have to start thinking what im gonna do for Layla's first birthday.

So i finally took more pictures of Layla! I just love how chunky her legs are and have wanted to get a picture of how her rolls hide her "HuHa"! She's gonna hate me when she grows up for taking these pictures but thats ok.

Layla has 2 teeth (as seen in the second picture)!! She loves biting things. She will chew on things then bite down really hard and pull it out fast. Its so cute. Our house gets very lively around 6 o'clock. Layla will sit in her bouncer and just talk and talk then squeal then yell at everything and everyone. If we are talking at all she will over talk us!

Well, Richie hurt his back at work this week and has been using this time to get all of the random house things done and since i gave him the go ahead for the sprinkler system he is in seventh heaven planning everything out. We are also getting our front yard in soon so our front area will finally be finished! (two years later then planned)! Im excited because we got my sisters old shed so i have storage!!! I completely re-organized my spare bedroom to give richie a study space and my scrap booking stuff is very accessible!

Well my baby girl is 6 months old! I wasnt sure when to consider her 6 months exactly since thre isnt 30 days in feb. Grandma Eloise got her this outfit and i just couldnt resist useing it for her pictures today. I am going to have Randi Jo take some more pictures of Layla with her fancy camera instead of going to sears or somewhere that will charge me an arm and a leg for professional pics. Layla is getting so big and strong, she can kinda sit up by herself but she topples over very easily. We are surviving her first cold this week. She has the same crud everyone else is getting and now she has a cough and stuffy nose. I'll try to update my blog sooner next time. Stay tuned!

I know its been a while since i have posted. Sorry. Layla has two teeth now! Her first one is showing alot more and now her second one just broke through. I cant believe how big she's getting. Well, everyone i know is on some kind of diet or workout plan so if i dont get my but in gear im always gonna be the fat one in the room so i am going to start tomarrow! hehehe. Im not sure what exactly im going to do but i am planning on walking when its warm, do my workout videos and eat healthier. I cant afford a gym membership but im sure i can turn my house into my own personal gym. Wish me luck and i'll post pictures soon since layla is six months old this week!!!!

Today i finally got a picture of Layla's new funny face she makes. She wrinkles her nose then breathes hard through her nose realy fast. Its so funny to watch!

Layla at 5 months old!

This weekend was very action packed! Richie and Phil flew to South Carolina to suprise their little brother at his going away party. -- Thank you so much for helping us get Richie back home, he needed it so bad and we wouldnt have been able to do it without you guys! They left friday morning and was able to suprise pretty much his entire family in the 36 hours they were there. They left early sunday morning and missed their conecting flight in Salt Lake so they had to fly into spokane instead of Lewiston. Randi Jo drove all the way to spokane to get the guys back in time for Layla's baptism! Thank you so much Randi Jo!!! 2 hours later than planned we were able to get Layla baptised. Thank you chelle and phil for being Layla's god parents, It means alot that you guys were there today and will be there for Layla if she ever needs you. It was my moms birthday today too! Layla and I went up to my moms house this weekend since we would have been alone all weekend. Mom helped me get all caught up with my scrapbooking. We came down early today and she helped me clean before the family got their. Mom has helped me and my family so much I only hope i can repay her someday! Thank you MOM!!! Our entire family does so much for us, my brother Ron is constantly working on our vehicles and he brings the most delicious dips when we get together!!! Thank you Ron for everything!! My other brother Bob is the same way, and now that he lives close I am constantly calling him for random favors. Thanks Bob

Layla and I went to my aunt Joan's house the night before thanksgiving then to my sister michelle's house for lunch on thanksgiving day. After that we went to station 4 to visit Richie, Phil, randi jo and addy. It was nice being able to see almost my whole family throughout the holiday weekend.

Ok, so for the last two and a half months i have tried being a stay at home mom. I absolutely love it, but i do not love the lack of money and something else to do besides clean my house every day. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a perfect job for me. Dont ask me, because i am having an internal battle trying to figure out exactly what it is i want to do! I dont mind doing random odds and ends either. I am a very organized person, I love to re-organize/clean (something other than my house. I have alot of experience dealing with customers in face and on the phone, But i only want to work part time (because i dont even know what im going to do about day care if i do find something)

By the way...Has anyone tried any of the on-line jobs? (take surveys at home or copy online forms sort of things?) Im not signing up for anything unless its absolute and so far my research has shown there is always a downfall to those things (go figure)

Anyways, if you would, keep your eyes and ears open for anything you think i might be able to do I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you and I'll be posting more pics sometime soon hopefully.

2 month doctors apt

Layla had her 2 month doctors apt. today. She had to get two shots that she did not like. Her Wt. was 12 lbs 5 1/2 oz. Ht. was 23 1/4 cm. After her apt i dropped her off at chelles while i cleaned the salon. She has been so tired and knocked out from the tylenol and the shots.

Today Layla Marie is 2 months old! And we had an eventful day! We woke up, got ready and had lunch with good friend Alison Parker, then we went to north lewiston to an awsome store (cant remember what its called). Then when we got home we got ready to go to the station to celebrate Crawfords last day working at the station. Unfortunately her eating schedule went out the window today and she wasnt able to get a good nap in so she's not too happy tonight. She is such an amazing little girl, she is my world. She starting giggling and has been smiling all month.

Well, today was my birthday. I was able to spend it relaxing with my baby girl at home. Then i lucked out and was able to go grocery shopping alone while my sister chelle watched layla. I brought her home then went to visit Randi Jo and Addy. Layla went to sleep at 10 and is sleeping like an angel. I feel so blessed to have such a great family and friends. If you havent herd, we are hanging out at our house the 25th and everyones invited. Its just casual pumpkin carving, come and go whenever you want and BYOB.

One of my sons lost his watch, and was very upset. We dug and dug in those balls, trying to find his watch. Instead, we found vomit, food, feces, and other stuff I do not want to discuss. I went to the manager and raised hell. Come to find out, the ball pit is only cleaned out once a month.

I have doubts that it is even done that often. My kids will never play in another ball pit.

Some of you might not be parents, but you may have nieces, nephews,
grandchildren, or friends with children. This will pertain to you too. As I read the following, my heart sank. I urge each and every one of you to pass this on to as many people as you can.

I cannot stress how important this is Hi. My name is Lauren Archer, my son Kevin and I lived in Midland, TN. On October 2nd, 1999 I took my only son to McDonald's for his 3rd birthday.

After he finished lunch, I allowed him to play in the ball pit. When he started whining later on, I asked him what was wrong, he pointed to the back of his pull-up and simply said 'Mommy, it hurts.' I couldn't find anything wrong with him at that time. I bathed him when we got home, and it was at that point when I found a welt on his left buttock. Upon investigating, it seemed as if there was something like a splinter under the welt. I made an appointment to see the doctor the next day, but soon he started vomiting and shaking, then his eyes rolled back into his head. From there, we went to the emergency room. He died later that night. It turned out that the welt on his buttock was the tip of a hypodermic needle that had broken off inside. The autopsy revealed that Kevin had died from a heroine overdose.

The next week, the police removed the balls from the ball pit. There was rotten food, several hypodermic needles: some full, some used; knives, half-eaten candy, diapers, feces, and and the stench of urine. (You can find the article on Kevin Archer in the October 10, 1999 issue of the Midland Chronicle). Don't think it's just McDonald's either.

A little boy had been playing in a ball pit @ a Burger King & started complaining of his legs hurting. He later died too.

He was found to have snake bites all over his legs & buttocks. When they cleaned the ball pit they found that there was a copperhead's nest in the ball pit. He had suffered numerous bites from a very poisonous snake.

AND FYI:

In Florida and other places on the East Coast a group of people are putting HIV/AIDS infected and filled needles underneath gas pump handles, so when someone reaches to pick it up and put gas in their car, they get stabbed with it.16 people have been a victim of this crime so far and 10 tested HIV positive.

My little girl is growing so fast! She is 10 pounds 2 ounces!!! Everything is going good, but they had to prick her heel and she wasnt bleeding enough so they had to keep squeezing her heel to get enough for their test. We had ANOTHER pluming problem today right before layla's doctors apt. good thing it was richies day off! I ran the washing machine and all the drains backed up in our bathroom, plus water came out from the bottom of the toilet! Our seal was bad. But all is fixed now.

I am starting to work....kinda. I am doing the salons laundry and maybe cleaning the salon once a week. But its better than nothing. I am actually going to be managing the salon when i do go back. I'll do requested clients, but other than that i will be helping katherine out with scheduling, customer service, retail, and managing the staff! Im actually excited about it, i'll just have to see how much i will be able to come in with finding layla a babysitter if Richie has to work, go to school, or doing his clinical time!

Well. Layla is now two weeks old! I can not believe how fast time is going by! This last weekend Layla and I went up to my moms house friday, saturday and came home sunday since Richie had to work. It was so nice to get out of the house. Chelle and the twins were up too so we had alot of fun with all the kids there. Tesse came over with her little man (Alajondro Alfonzo Pineda). Its so crazy we are moms now, just last year we were having wine night and cross stitching at my house!
Well we gave layla her first bath the other night and she loved it! She just layed there and let me mover her without fighting! She is sleeping better at night now, only getting up 2-3 times a night.

Well, as of 9-11-08 Richie is FINALY a full time firefighter! I am so proud of him, he has put three long years into the department and is finaly moving up! Layla and I went to visit him at the station on his first full time shift and it happened to be that him and Phil played the bagpipes and drum while the procession of firetrucks/police cars went by for the 9/11 rememborance....thing. (sorry cant remember what it was called) Anyways, Randi Jo got some cute pics of us there...And here they are!

Well, she is finally here! I was in labor for 36 hours, pushed for an hour and 13 minutes and she's perfect! She was 8lb, 6 1/4oz, 22in long.

Layla is eating great and sleeping 2 hours at a time most of the time. I've figured out that if i keep her up more durring the day, she sleeps better at night! go figure! I'll try to keep updated on the pictures now.

Evidently i had my entire family concerned, so after bob stoped by to check on me i headed up to chelle's house just incase i need a ride to the hospital. What a perfect night for this to happen! Well, as of tomarrow i am 1 week overdue. I went to the doctor today and i am still only a tight 2cm dialated and 75% effaced. So no change from last week. She stripped my membranes so hopefully i will go into labor sometime this month. I wanted to get ahead so i filled out my callendars under the assumption that Layla would be here in August. Randi Jo has guessed that i would be going into the hospital at 3am tomarrow morning. Im guessing tomarrow around 10am.....anyone have other guesses??? I should realy start a pool and get some money out of this!

Well, i am officially one day overdue, almost two now! I have had no contractions, im only dialated 1cm (for the last 4 weeks now with no change) and I just dont feel like its gonna happen too soon. Anyways. for those of you who dont know.... My husband is an EMT/Firefighter and in school to become a paramedic.

I wanted to go up to Cottonwood to the county fair that i have not been to for 3 years. It is only 45 minutes away, and there IS a hospital in town! Well, Richie was FREAKING OUT about going up there with me, but he agreed to go to get me out of the house and to keep me happy. Well, he has been on me for the last 2 MONTHS about getting my hospital bag packed, i finally got one packed and was getting ready to load up in the jeep and my Darling husband came out with three towels and the hand sanitizer (supersized one at that) I asked what that was for and he just kept packing. He came out with a torniquet, pocket knife and a plastic bag so i asked him what this was all for. He told me he was getting everything he would need for a delivery!!!!! He said that he would not deliver a baby on the side of the road unprepared!! He said the torniquet was for the cord, the knife to cut the cord, towls to clean and keep the baby warm, plastic bag to save the plasenta. He then had to go all the way to the fire station becuase he was out of plastic gloves. I tried telling him that the baby is not going to just POP out that fast and that there is a hospital in the town, but he kept insisting that he NEEDED to be prepared to deliver this baby himself!

Needless to say we made it there, stayed at the fair for a while walking around, and back with no baby, contractions or my water breaking!!! Go figure, i was right again. It was just so sweet and funny that i had to share.

I have a doctors apt tomarrow, so we'll see if im any closer to having this baby. I know that all the people around me are getting impatient, but im cherishing the last days/hours (minutes/seconds if you ask richie) of this pregnancy.

Today is my due date. I cant believe it is already here. I am feeling just fine, no different except for some pelvic pressure. I go on www.whattoexpect.com and chat with some women who are due around the same time as me and they refer to this feeling as their "broken crotch club" Thats exactly what it feels like too. Well, i am planning on going to the Idaho County Fair tomarrow for the good food and to just get out walking. Who knows, but i am going to try to go until the 25th. That was my dads birthday and it would be so special for my daughter to share that special day with her grandpa. Ok so I had my doctors apt. this morning. She just got back from vacation so her office was really buisy. I was hopeing she was gonna tell me im on my way and any day now...but no such luck. I have made no progress since my last apt. with her three weeks ago!!! But i am still ok with that, i will welcome the last days of quite and relaxation that i need. If i go over my due date i am shooting for the 25th since that was my dad's birthday. But i have decided that this is all going to go fast and easy. My contractions will start, my water will break shortly after and the baby will just POP out!!! hahaha, if anyone says anything different i'll probably cry, so thats my plan and im stickin to it.

Mom came down yesterday and we made Zuccini cake, bread and casserole for the freezer so i will have food easy to prepare after the baby's here. It was alot of fun and a nice relaxing day. My washing machine is still on the fritz and my dishwasher completely dead (until somone looks at it who knows what the hell to do with it to fix it) Richie's been trying to fix the washing machines drain pipe by glueing, caulking and anything else he can think of so he doesnt have to replace everything. Its just funny now, except for not being able to do laundry at home. Luckely i have great family and friends who let me catch up at their houses. I'll let ya all know if the baby comes any time soon, but i am now retracting my previous thoughts about having it this weekend....not happening!

So i have one more week to go. Sorry its been so long since my last post. I go into the doctor tomarrow at 11a.m. So I will be updating you again soon. I must be having this baby saturday and here's why. 1. its a full moon 2. Bob and Markey are going camping 3. Chelle and Ryan are going camping 4. Randi Jo and Phil are going to spokane 5. Michelle and her girls are going to spokane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had no contractions, and i dont feel like she has dropped, but who knows.

Last weekend mom and i cleaned my house for over 20 hours in two days! Its still clean too! Our dishwasher is broken, mom and i smashed my driers' metal hose going outside (but we fixed it that day) And now my washing machine's drain hose is leaking! But other than that i think my house is ready for this baby. Im getting there, but still would like her to cook a little longer. Its not even the delivery that is bothering me, its the not knowing when im going to deliver and the after proceedures i keep hearing about. But i'll truck through it.

Tesse is Due August 2nd, her blood pressure is back down to normal this week from being higher last week and her doctor is on vacation until the 31st. I am 36 1/2 weeks, at my last doctors apt i was dialated 1 centimeter already and now my doctor is on vacation until the 10th!!! Sunday, my mom and sister threw me an awsome baby shower! I went to a Bachelorette Beach party last weekend and this is my cute outfit i wore there. I look much bigger in this outfit then i really am. I had a doctors apt tuesday and evidently i am 2 inches bigger than i am supposed to be so next apt. if i am still too big i will get an ultra sound. Looks like my babys' gonna be huge! But really....Richies head, wide shoulders...my big butt, hips, feet...My dads' big ears...grandpa's big feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My baby doesnt have a chance at bein small!

weekend project

This weekend mom came up and we decided to paint the baby's room. We have pink on the bottom of the wall that went up just fine. Then we taped off the section for the brown stripe....Not the easiest thing to do since my house isnt level and the mop board has a couple levels so measuring off of it wasnt easy at all. Well, my wall has alot of texture and the taped didnt keep the paint where it was supposed to be. So today i spent all day with a tiny brush painting pink over the brown that bled down and painting dark brown 1/2 inch above our original line with the same tiny brush so there was a straight line! Then on to the circles! We got three different sized of PVC pipe, i dipped them into paint and onto the wall.. You cant see it too well but there are pink and brown circles along the top of the stripe. I still have to do another coat of dark brown on the stripe but im calling it good after that.

anniversary weekend

Our 1 year wedding anniversary was this weekend so Richie and I went to orofino at the rivers edge hotel. We got there saturday afternoon and left monday around 11. It was so nice to get out of town! We went out to eat for dinner and spent the rest of the time in the hotel watching movies and sitting in a warm hot tub.

So Richie has been playing the drums for the Lewiston Fire Dept. Pipes and Drums Band now for a couple months. The band played for the first time at the Sober graduation this morning and did great. This week has been filled with no sleep, throwing up, and not being able to breath! I have restless leg syndrome so bad that i can not get to sleep untill at least 3:30 and i still wake up at least two times untill i have to get up from it! When i breath in deep i dont reach that "full" feeling making me unable to really catch my breath well. Saturday i was sick at work, went home and got more sick, sunday i spent all day laying down barely eating for worry that i would loose my food. So im not doin great...but im sure it will get better.

So Richie is working again this weekend, so after i woke up from sleeping in i called mom up to see what she was doing. She came down and helped me completely redo my kitchen! We took everything out of every drawer so i could clean the entire area!!! I was pretty excited since everyday i come home i end up redoing some random thing in the house because there is nothing completely clean!!!! DIRT, DUST, CAT HAIR EVERYWHERE!!! So now my kitchen is clean and i have room for baby bottles and baby food ect!!!!

Everyone thought it was gonna be a boy, good thing we found out! She was moving all over the place (like always) but i actually got to watch her move, it was so awsome. I am now 18 weeks. I had my 2nd doctors apt. today. The baby kept dancin around so she couldnt count the hartbeat as easily. We have a very active baby!!! And to top it off i think i felt it move for the first time tonight!!! my pants had tight elastic and my computer was pushed up against my belly and i felt something!!! Our ultrasound is april 2nd!!!

Ok, so Amanda and Chelle both tagged me. Since i dont know that many people's blog name and Im still new at this so im just gonna do this because everyone complains that i dont have recent blogs. So here is my middle name explaining myself.

R- Responsible. Some people would laugh, but the older i get, it seems the more responsible i try to be. Since i've been with my husband, i have taken more responsibility in our finances, and other aspects of our lives.

E- Eager to be a Mother. It is scary, but i am very eager to have my own child to care for. I have always babysat, and watched my family's kids. Im ready!

N- Hausiated! Ever since around my 9th week of being pregnant i have been nauseated 24/7. I am now 14 weeks and just now starting to feel better!

E- Eccentric. Anyone who knows me well, knows i am not the most normal person. But i enjoy making my family laugh, even if its at me. One thing im proud of is that i have never hidden my thoughts because i was affraid to be laughed at.

E- Excited. I am so excited to be all grown up now. I feel so much closer to my family now that i am "at the grown ups table" I am married, pregnant and going through it all with the love of my life. Its all very exciting to me!

Ok, with all those e's it wasnt easy. My next doctors apt. is March 11th. I'll keep you updated!

Today was our first doctors appointment! As soon as she put the device on my belly you could hear the heartbeat going so fast! It was so awsome, and makes this baby so real now. I mean i have been sick this whole time and my belly is getting harder, but it just didnt change anything untill today. I lost 8 pounds since my last appointment, but they didnt seem to care too much which is good. Im still getting sick, but i have more good days then bad now.

Ok, what was so frustrating last week is so cute right now! Richie took all of the chicken out of the house so i dont have to even look at it since it makes me sick. We went to get applebee's to go and on the way home i started dry heaving from the smell. So he put the heat on full blast twords me and rolled down his window to get the smell out for me....He's bein so sweet! He's working so much lately though, i dont really get to see him much. But i love my man!

Oh yeah, an update on baby lucas.... She/He doesnt like romen noodles or yogurt! I started loosing my food (to put it nicely) after i eat it unfortunately. I am 10 weeks now. I cant believe i am almost out of my 1st trimester!

Frustrating Husband!

Alright, laugh all you want, but this isnt as funny as it sounds. Sunday I got back from scrapbooking camp. I was home for 2 HOURS! thats it. That is the time frame of all this i am about to tell you........I walk in the door and richie askes "what have you eaten today?" I said a fruit and yogurt parfet from McDonalds. richie says "McDonalds!!! We need to get you on a better eating schedule! So i tell him to calm down i just need to take a shower i havent in two days since i was scrapbooking. "TWO days! what did the doctor say about hygine!?" richie said. I told him she told me to watch my dental hygine! I BRUSHED MY TEETH! he said " man, my kids gonna come out with two fingers!" (yes i know that every day you dont take a shower you baby looses a finger!) So i then asked him to just get my scrapbook stuff out of the pickup while i shower. he says "i just worked a 48 hour shift, cant i just relax" so i said fine i get it. NO you cant, its too heavy! he said. OK......It has to come in though....."fine, you know christel, the whole world doesnt have to stop becuase you dont feel good!" Well, then my mom called and told me my uncle Rudy passed away. When i got off the phone i told richie about it. He asked me "Are you ok? you know that you should be pretty emotional right now....my book told me so." I said no im fine so he told me "dont hold it in! its not good for the baby, you can cry in front of me!"

So by this time i was tearing my hair out and trying to get to chelles house as fast as i could. When i got home two days later i got in the pickup and told richie that i had a headache.....well he told me that thats a symptom of pregnancy, went into detail explaining why i get headaches, and went into detail about other symptoms that i should be having that he read about in his stupid "dads what to expect" book or something like that.

Sounds funny, but i get a call every day asking me what i have eaten and how much sleep i am getting! Starting to get annoying...but man i love him.

Baby update...I just had my first appointment at the doctors office. It was just a nurses apt. so she took my information, and i was able to ask her questions. I am 8 weeks along now and I am sick as a dog! My nausea has me hating food, not wanting to eat. And my hormones have me thinking that i need to quite working! Obviously im not doing either, but thats whats going on with me. Hopefully it gets better. I'll keep you updated!

Sunday before Christmas is when my family got together to celebrate since we all had other places to go all the other days. My mom bought us a bed! i get to pick out the one i want and she'll get it for us! Our bed is so old i am so excited! The twins were at their wildest as usual, so cute! It finally sunk in that this was going to be my last Christmas alone! From here on out i get to play Santa! It is still so weird to think i am finally pregnant though. I'm hoping that it will seem more real when i start showing (even though my fat rolls are looking a lot like a baby bump) I am just so glad that the holidays are over, its too expensive and stressful, specially when i am too exhausted to even get dressed let alone buy, wrap and give out presents!

As for my pregnancy update, i am sick! It was on the first day of week six, i started getting nauseas. Before i thought i was getting nauseas, but it was nothing like this. I just got done giving a massage, and i had to run upstairs where i spent a couple minutes dry heaving. So i went back downstairs after my client left and layed down for a while. I feel better now though.

My friend Tesse came to town and invited me to lunch the other day. While there, she told me that she is expecting after only 3 months of trying! I was so happy for her, but of coarse, a little upset that i still wasnt pregnant. So i decided to take a pregnancy test anyways, just so i would know for sure that i wasnt prego. Well, it came up positive! So i ran to the fire station to tell Richie. He was so excited! We decided to tell our moms on friday with flowers and balloons (since it was his mom's birthday soon). Tesse is two weeks a head of me and my doctors appointment is January 10th. I'll keep you posted!~
